Find the Right Fit

To maximize performance, companies must; 1) Identify the employee's individual strengths and 2) position that individual to perform a role that capitalizes on these strengths. When we refer to "strengths" we are referring primarily to a person's recurring patterns of thought, feeling, or behavior - his talents - and less to learned skills and acquired knowledge. Having successfully taken the above steps, companies arrive at the path's most critical juncture - they must find a way to effectively manage these talented employees.

At the Harrington Management Training Programs participants will discover how to select for talent, define the right outcomes, focus on strengths, and find the right fit for every employee. They will learn how to build on individual strengths, while managing weaknesses. They will return to the company with increased self-knowledge and the confidence to manage more effectively. They will dramatically increase team strength, improve interactions with coworkers, and positively impact workplace performance by motivating people on an individual basis. They will also gain the tools and insights to quickly see where conflict can occur and be able to identify where communication, understanding and appreciation can be increased.

Each of the Research-Based Management Training Programs offered by the Harrington Group (see client services) is dedicated to four outcomes - employee retention, customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. The programs present participants with exciting new principles and tools for maximizing personal and organizational success. We look forward to working with you to achieve these goals in your organization.
